  • 1 (16‑ounce) container frosting (vanilla or cream cheese), about 2 cups
  • 1 (15‑ounce) container no‑stir creamy peanut butter (such as Jif or Skippy), about 2 cups

Method

1. Prepare the Pan

Line an 8 × 8‑inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to make removal easier.

2. Combine the Frosting and Peanut Butter

  1. Place the frosting and peanut butter in a medium microwave‑safe bowl.
  2. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir.
  3. Microwave for an additional 30 seconds.
  4. Stir until the mixture is completely smooth and fully combined.

3. Transfer to the Pan

  1. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  2. If desired, top with chopped peanuts, peanut butter cups, or a drizzle of melted chocolate.

4. Chill and Serve

  1. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until fully set.
  2. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang.
  3. Cut into 24 pieces.
  4. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
