Retro Dessert Fudge

Ingredients
Prep Time
- 1 (16‑ounce) container frosting (vanilla or cream cheese), about 2 cups
- 1 (15‑ounce) container no‑stir creamy peanut butter (such as Jif or Skippy), about 2 cups
Method
1. Prepare the Pan
Line an 8 × 8‑inch square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides to make removal easier.
2. Combine the Frosting and Peanut Butter
- Place the frosting and peanut butter in a medium microwave‑safe bowl.
- Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir.
- Microwave for an additional 30 seconds.
- Stir until the mixture is completely smooth and fully combined.
3. Transfer to the Pan
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- If desired, top with chopped peanuts, peanut butter cups, or a drizzle of melted chocolate.
4. Chill and Serve
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until fully set.
- Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang.
- Cut into 24 pieces.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
